OK,
well, there’s no “us” in
“About Us”—just me. This is a one-woman show. But there’s
nothing wrong with planning ahead, right?
This website
got started early in 2002 when a friend of mine referred someone
to me who wanted an e-cards program for their website.
I happened to have one that I designed on my photography
website, JackieJohnston.com,
so I agreed to come up with a commercial version of the program. And
so this site was born. Since then, there have been several revisions
and improvements of the Computer
Postcards program and some new programs as well.
“Wait,
what was that about photography?” you say. Yes, I’m
also a professional photographer and got into web
design and application development because I wanted to put my photos
online starting back when the dotcoms where still booming in
1998. My site’s
gone through several incarnations since then, but it has been
woefully neglected in the last couple of year’s
since I’ve been too busy designing other people’s sites. Here
